Using buyer applications

Overview

Store → Applications stores applicant name, contact fields, budget, notes, ApplicationStatus (new through approved, etc.), and ApplicationType (puppy, litter, or none). Use that screen as the queue; move outcomes into Customers and Orders when someone progresses.

Application workflow

  1. Open new or reviewing applications from the list.
  2. Record strengths, gaps, and follow-ups in notes.
  3. Update status as decisions are made.
  4. Create or link a customer record for serious prospects.
  5. Keep application notes attached so placement conversations stay grounded.

Practical note

Applications organize intake; customers and orders track the relationship afterward.
