Store → Customers is the waitlist in practice. Each customer has a CustomerStatus (new, prospective, future, deposit, order, active, hold, and others) plus notes. Use that field honestly so reports and your own memory stay aligned.
What to track
- Status transitions as interest becomes concrete
- Litter or program preferences in notes
- Deposit or order links when money appears
- Pick order (litter) on a youngling when you sequence picks
- Last contact or next step in notes
Practical note
Statuses only work if you change them when reality changes.
