Overview
Vaccination planning should be simple, documented, and based on veterinary guidance. Breeders do not need to turn every buyer handoff into a lecture, but they do need to provide clear records and realistic next-step expectations.
Good recordkeeping includes
- Date of administration
- Vaccine used
- Lot number if tracked
- Who administered it
- What is still due after pickup
Buyer handoff
Send buyers home with records they can actually understand. A pile of paper with no context is just decorative confusion.
Practical note
Clear vaccine records are boring in the best possible way.
